This book is a lecture delivered by the Shaykh (may Allah have mercy upon him) in 1415 AH at Prince Khālid Ibn Saud Mosque in Riyadh, in which he noted that trials can be in the form of blessings or afflictions, such as the trial and temptation of women, the trial of food and drink, the trial in religion, the trial of worldly life, and other trials such as vanity, mutual alienation and hatred, and causing discord among rulers and scholars and spreading their faults. The Shaykh also pointed out the necessity to seek refuge in Allah Almighty from all trials, and then he answered the questions posed to him in that lecture.
