The Commentary on Al-Kāfī fī Fiqh al-Imām Ahmad

This book contains a commentary on the book "Al-Kāfī fī Fiqh al-Imām Ahmad ibn Hanbal" by Ibn Qudāmah al-Maqdisi (d. 620 AH). It was given during the academic lessons that the Shaykh used to hold at his mosque in ‘Unayzah within the period 1412-1421 AH. He reached the chapter Usūl Sihām al-Farā’id under the section of Al-Farā’id (inheritance). There is another commentary that the Shaykh gave during private lessons, which were arranged by some of his leading students in their houses on a periodic basis during the period 1415-1421 AH. It addresses the content from the section on proxy to the section on Jihad. Some parts in the two commentaries were not audio recorded. They were referred to in their respective places. The Shaykh had earlier begun writing about the key issues in the book "Al-Kāfī", reaching the latter part in the section on purification. These were separately added after the end of the commentary on the section of purification within the same book.
