This book contains the Tafsīr of Surat Fussilat in which the Shaykh points out its description of the condition of past nations, like ‘Ād and Thamūd, and its mention of the consequences of their disbelief and defiance. The Surah also involves talk about the Noble Qur’an, support for the Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) to make him firm, and clarification of the polytheists’ falsehood and misguidance. In his Tafsīr of this Surah, the Shaykh referred to the Jalālayn Tafsīr and discussed its content. He tackled the meanings and rulings contained in the verses and derived therefrom ample lessons. The Tafsīr of this Surah was delivered by the Shaykh (may Allah have mercy upon him) during the daytime academic lessons that he used to give at his mosque in ‘Unayzah during the summer holidays.
