This book is a lecture delivered by the Shaykh (may Allah have mercy upon him) at King Abdul-Aziz University in Jeddah. In it, he talked about the knowledge a preacher requires in order to conduct Da‘wah with insight and patience and endure any harm coming his way, and to perform it with wisdom, considering people’s conditions, and with good manners. A preacher should remove the barriers between himself and the people and treat his opponents with tolerance. The book also sheds light on the conditions of the Mujtahid (he who practices independent reasoning) and maintains that disputes should be settled by referring to evidence from the Qur’an and Sunnah.
