The Commentary on Chapters from Zād al-Ma‘ād

This book contains a commentary by the Shaykh (may Allah have mercy upon him) on chapters from the book "Zād al-Ma‘ād fī Hady Khayr al-‘Ibād" by Ibn Al-Qayyim (d. 751 AH), given the multiple benefits to be reaped from reading the authentic Prophetic Sīrah, as it boosts faith and humility of the heart, increases love for the Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him), and brings greater knowledge of the Prophet’s approach in the call to Allah and enlightening people. There are two commentaries by the Shaykh on chapters from this book. The first commentary was at the Sacred Mosque in 1411 AH, and it is the broader and more comprehensive one. It addresses chapters that contain Hadīths on the Prophet’s biography and battles. The second commentary was at his mosque in ‘Unayzah, in 1411 AH as well, and it tackles chapters on the Prophet’s battles. Hence, the first commentary was chosen for preparation, and the additions and benefits existing in the second commentary were attached to it.
