This book contains the Tafsīr of Surat as-Sāffāt in which the Shaykh points out its description of the condition of the disbelievers and that of the believers, as well as its mentions of some news about a group of prophets (peace be upon them). The Surah also speaks about the angels and warns the deniers against the severe punishment of Allah Almighty. The Shaykh’s Tafsīr also explains the meanings of the verses and derives lessons therefrom, and it provides linguistic and other guidelines, commenting on the Jalālayn Tafsīr and going beyond it in the most succinct and profound manner. The Tafsīr of this Surah was given by the Shaykh (may Allah have mercy upon him) during the daytime academic lessons that he used to give at his mosque in ‘Unayzah during the summer holidays.
