This book contains the Tafsīr of Surat Luqmān in which the Shaykh explains how this Surah points out Allah’s ability to create and bring all things into existence in an excellent and unprecedented manner and to provide for the entire creation. It also touches upon the story of Luqmān and the wisdom Allah endowed him with. Moreover, the Surah addresses the topic of creed and notes that people, by their very nature, feel attached to their Creator at times of danger and turn away from Him when they are safe. In his Tafsīr of this Surah, the Shaykh referred to the Jalālayn Tafsīr and discussed its content. He tackled the meanings and rulings contained in the verses and derived therefrom ample lessons in different fields of knowledge. The Tafsīr of this Surah was given by the Shaykh (may Allah have mercy upon him) during the daytime academic lessons that he used to give at his mosque in ‘Unayzah during the summer holidays.
