This book is a handwritten commentary on the book ‘Umdat al-Ahkām min Kalām Khayr al-Anām for Al-Hāfizh ‘Abdul-Ghaniyy al-Maqdisi (d. 600 AH). The explanation and commentary was given during the academic lessons that the Shaykh used to hold at the Sacred Mosque and of which those Hadīths in the chapters on sale transactions to legal retributions were audio recorded. The commentary was also part of the academic lessons he gave during the summer holidays in Riyadh and ‘Unayzah, of which the Hadīths in the chapters on purification to Hajj were audio recorded.
