This book comprises the Tafsīr of Surat al-Mā’idah in which the Shaykh shows the great objectives contained therein with regard to contracts. This Surah was among the last Surahs revealed to the Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him). The Shaykh also explained the rulings in this Surah about drinks, what is lawful and what is not, and the prohibition of the alcohol. Another thing is marriage contracts, particularly the marriages of the People of the Book, as well as other contractual matters. He explained the meanings of the verses in a clear manner and mentioned the lessons derived therefrom in different fields of knowledge. The Tafsīr of this Surah was given by the Shaykh (may Allah have mercy upon him) during the night-time lessons that he used to give at his mosque in ‘Unayzah.
