This book contains the Tafsīr of Surat an-Naml in which the Shaykh points out the great objectives found in this Surah in terms of belief in Allah Almighty and worshiping none but Him and belief in the Hereafter, the revelation, and that the unseen is entirely in the Hand of Allah. The Surah also offers an example to be considered, as it speaks about the greatest kingdom in this world, that of Dāwūd (David) and Sulaymān (Solomon) (peace be upon both of them). Moreover, it provides arguments against the polytheists and clarifies the falsity of their gods, and it states the signs denoting the imminence of the Day of Judgment. In his Tafsīr of this Surah, the Shaykh referred to the Jalālayn Tafsīr and discussed its content. He tackled the meanings and rulings contained in the verses and derived therefrom ample lessons in different fields of knowledge. The Tafsīr of this Surah was given by the Shaykh (may Allah have mercy upon him) during the daytime academic lessons that he used to give at his mosque in ‘Unayzah during the summer holidays.
