This book contains commentary on "Al-‘Aqīdah al-Wāsitiyyah", a message sent by Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (d. 728 AH) to the people of the city of Wāsit. It is a valuable message with a few words and a lot of meanings. It summarizes the creed of Ahl-us-Sunnah wa al-Jamā‘ah with regard to the names and attributes of Allah Almighty and offers abundant benefits needed by every knowledge seeker; student and scholar. The book was published based on the transcription of the tapes, and then the Shaykh revised it and made the necessary additions and omissions. Indeed, this is one of the best commentaries by the erudite Shaykh on creed.
