This book comprises several meetings held by the Shaykh (may Allah have mercy upon him) with the people of Hisbah (accountability) in which they talked about enjoining what is good and forbidding what is evil, the frequently asked questions related to this duty, and the need to follow the best way in Da‘wah and Hisbah. The book also contains Fatwas related to Hisbah. The Shaykh used to open such meetings with a word of advice and then answer various questions asked by the members or ask for a book on Hisbah to be read out and then he would comment on it. One of those books was "The Hisbah" for Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (d. 728 AH).
