This book contains the Tafsīr of Surat Yasīn in which the Shaykh points out its mention of the story of the dwellers of the village and the messengers sent to them and the favors Allah bestows upon His servants. The Surah also talks about the condition of the people of Paradise and that of the dwellers of Hellfire, affirms the resurrection after death, and refutes the claim of the deniers of resurrection by strong arguments. His Tafsīr also explains the meanings of the verses and derives lessons therefrom, and it provides linguistic and other guidelines, commenting on the Jalālayn Tafsīr and going beyond it in the most succinct and profound manner. The Tafsīr of this Surah was given by the Shaykh (may Allah have mercy upon him) during the daytime academic lessons that he used to give at his mosque in ‘Unayzah during the summer holidays.
