This book comprises the erudite Shaykh’s commentary on the book "Zād al-Mustaqni‘ fī Ikhtisār al-Muqni‘" by Shaykh Mūsa al-Hajjāwi (d. 968 AH). The Shaykh was particularly interested in this book, making several commentaries on it, while mentioning the preponderant opinions along with the relevant proofs or causes. He did so in a clear, easy, and simple style away from complication. A lot of students benefited from it. These numerous audio-recorded commentaries were printed under the title "Al-Sharh al-Mumti‘ ‘alā Zād al-Mustaqni‘". It was initially published from the transcription of tapes, and then the Shaykh revised the book printed during his lifetime as part of the academic lessons that he used to give at his mosque in ‘Unayzah. He made modifications and applied additions or omissions, deleting unneeded things and adding necessary ideas and issues. This is regarded to be one of the best commentaries by the great Shaykh in Fiqh.
