The Commentary on Thalāthat al-Usūl
SAR 9.20
This book is a commentary on the treatise "Thalāthat al-Usūl" by Shaykh al-Islam Muhammad ibn ‘Abdul-Wahhāb (d. 1206 AH). These three principles refer to one’s knowledge of his Lord, religion, and Prophet. The treatise also comprises matters that need to be learned, the types of worship, the pillars of Islam, and the pillars and fruits of faith, and it defines the rank of Ihsān and the disbelief in Tāghūt (false deities). Moreover, it speaks about people’s conditions with regard to their rulers and the necessity to refer knowledge to Allah and His Messenger. The commentary was published from the transcription of the tapes, and then the Shaykh revised it, making necessary additions and omissions.
